We deliver to anywhere in the UK, including the islands*, using the APC network. We will notify you when your order has been sent to the butcher and email the consignment number and tracking details when it leaves our butchery.
To make sure your meat gets to you in the freshest condition, we post on a 24 hour courier service. However, due to the Butcher being in the very North of Scotland, we pack the meat with enough ice to stay perfectly fresh for at least 48 hours as it may take this length of time to get to you.
*Orders to the islands will leave on Monday and will take 42-72hrs to arrive, packed with extra ice.
Deliveries
During Covid-19 deliveries are taking 48hrs to reach their intended address and arriving as late as 8.30pm.
Deliveries are made Tues – Fri (courier may deliver on Sat if they miss your order on a Friday). All deliveries are £8.99 and due to arrive anytime before 6pm.
Our cut off time is 2pm for the order to be sent the following day**.
Currently we cannot offer the option to select your delivery date but if you require your meat for a specific date, please look at the below delivery schedule or email help@macandwild.com to check when is best to order.
Wednesday/Thursday
**Orders on a Sunday will not leave until the following Tuesday due to the courier’s extra early collection on Monday morning.

Shelf Life
All orders are cut down and butchered the day before it leaves us. We make everything fresh so we get the best shelf life for you.
We vacuum pack or wrap all of our products to ensure we give the meat the best chance to get to you in top condition. There will be a use by or best before on all of our products. All of our sausages are made the day before they leave us to make sure you have the freshest product. We do not mix our products with any nasties or flush our chicken with gas to give better shelf life.
- Beef, lamb & pork steaks: 7 days
- Chicken, sausage, roasts: 2 days
- Mince: 3 days
- Bacon: 7 days
Our whole chickens have a very short shelf life so we buy them and send them frozen to allow for the freshest product to arrive with you.
